Exclusive: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 5K CAD Renders and 360-Degree Video Leak

First look at Samsung's 2026 clamshell foldable. The renders confirm a slimmer folded profile, the same 6.9-inch inner display, and a dual rear camera layout.

MyMobiles has collaborated with Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) to reveal the first 5K CAD renders and a 360-degree video of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8. These exclusive visuals give us the clearest look yet at Samsung's 2026 clamshell foldable ahead of its expected Galaxy Unpacked debut this summer.

Renders produced by OnLeaks in collaboration with MyMobiles.com. If you use these images or video, please credit www.mymobiles.com with a link back.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 dimensions and design

Per OnLeaks, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will measure roughly 166.8 x 75.4 x 6.6 mm unfolded and 85.4 x 75.4 x 13.2 mm folded. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 measured 166.7 x 75.2 x 6.5 mm unfolded and 85.5 x 75.2 x 13.7 mm folded. The headline change is the folded thickness: the Z Flip 8 is half a millimetre slimmer when closed, while the unfolded body stays virtually identical to its predecessor.

The renders show a dual rear camera module with an LED flash on the cover panel, the same layout as the Z Flip 7. The cover display measures roughly 4.1 inches and the inner foldable display unfolds to roughly 6.9 inches. Both display sizes are essentially unchanged from the Z Flip 7.

In short, there are no visible design changes between the Z Flip 8 and the Z Flip 7. Samsung is keeping the form factor completely familiar and focusing its efforts on a slimmer, more pocketable body when folded.

A note on accuracy: these renders are reconstructed from internal CAD files, which are generally extremely accurate for dimensions and form factor. They typically do not capture details like final bezel thickness, antenna lines, SIM tray placement or shipping colourways, so small variations in the production hardware are normal.

Compared to the previous generation

The renders confirm the body and displays. Internal hardware, including chipset, battery, charging and software, is not part of this leak and remains unconfirmed.

When to expect it

Launch timing is not part of this leak. Based on Samsung's consistent Galaxy Unpacked schedule over the past three years, these are the dates we expect.

MyMobiles take

This is a refinement year for the Z Flip line. Samsung is not reinventing the design. Instead it is shaving half a millimetre off the folded profile while keeping everything else, from display sizes to camera layout, exactly where it was. The real upgrades for 2026 will likely come from the chipset and software side, neither of which are part of this CAD leak. We will update this article as more details surface.

We will track Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 deals as they go live.
