Fonehouse is one of the UK's longest-established mobile phone retailers, founded in 1994 by Clive Bayley in London. With over 30 years of trading experience, the company operates more than 60 high-street shops across the UK alongside a comprehensive online store, supported by a head office and customer service team in Bracknell, Berkshire. Customers can choose to browse deals in person at any of the stores, order online for free next day delivery, or speak to UK-based staff over the phone.
Since December 2017 Fonehouse has been owned by KTM Online Limited (Companies House 10781202), the venture formed by ex-Mobile Phones Direct CEO Ben Branson alongside Richard Crawley and Lucky Anand of GreenTech Distribution. KTM Online also owns the sister brand Metrofone, which operates as an EE-only specialist. The acquisition preserved the Fonehouse brand and high-street presence while bringing new investment into both online and physical retail. In 2026 Fonehouse was named Uswitch Best Mobiles Reseller of the year.
On 4 November 2025 Fonehouse signed a renewed three-year partnership with VodafoneThree, the merged Vodafone UK and Three UK entity that combined on 31 May 2025, making VodafoneThree the sole consumer Mobile Network Operator across all Fonehouse retail and online channels through 2028. While this limits network choice to the Vodafone, Three and Talkmobile brands, it also means Fonehouse can negotiate exclusive deals and pricing that you won't find elsewhere.
Delivery
Fonehouse offers free next day delivery seven days a week on in-stock orders placed before 3pm, with a 14 day return policy. Customers can also use click and collect from any of the 60-plus UK stores.
Cashback & Offers
Fonehouse runs both automatic and redemption cashback deals across its VodafoneThree contract range. Automatic cashback is paid out without any action required, while redemption cashback requires customers to log in and submit claims at specific billing months on the contract.
