The Find X9 Ultra is Oppo's no-compromise camera phone, sitting above the Find X9 Pro rather than replacing it. What sets it apart is the sheer spread of focal lengths: a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, a 200MP 3x telephoto and, unusually, a separate 10x periscope. Most rivals stop at one telephoto and lean on cropping beyond that, so the Find X9 Ultra holds detail at long range where other flagships turn mushy. Colour handling is measured rather than over-processed, which is what you want if you actually edit your photos afterwards. Away from the cameras it is a conventionally excellent flagship: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 6.8-inch LTPO panel that runs at up to 144Hz and drops down to save power, and a 7,050mAh battery that will see out a long day with plenty in reserve. The catch is physical. At 236g and 9.1mm thick this is a heavy, chunky phone, and if you want something you barely notice in a pocket you should look at the Find X9 Pro instead. Triple IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings mean it will shrug off far more than most.
