The Galaxy Z Fold4 is the generation where Samsung's book-style foldable stopped feeling like an experiment. The 6.2-inch cover screen is wide enough to type on and use one-handed, which removes the biggest reason people bounced off earlier Folds, and the hinge and frame were tightened so the phone sits flatter when closed. Unfolded, the 7.6-inch inner display is genuinely useful for reading, spreadsheets and running two apps side by side in a way no ordinary slab can match. The trade-offs are real and worth knowing. Screens, rear cameras and the 4,400mAh battery are effectively unchanged, and the Fold5 actually drops the inner selfie camera from 16MP to 4MP. Choose the Fold5 if the slimmer closed profile matters, otherwise the Fold4 covers the same ground.
