Six years on, the 11 Pro Max remains a reasonable budget or backup option in 2026, since it is still supported with updates through iOS 26, unlike the XS-generation phones. Its cameras, screen and battery still perform well for everyday use, though it will keep falling further behind newer iPhones in raw power and long-term software runway.
