Xiaomi has not fully announced the Poco F9 Ultra yet - the global launch event is set for 1 September 2026, so most of the detail below is expected rather than confirmed. What Poco has stated itself is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 185Hz display, an 8,050mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a Bose-tuned 2.1 speaker system with a subwoofer built into the camera housing. Read against the F8 Ultra, that points to a phone chasing endurance and screen speed rather than raw processing, because the F8 Ultra already runs the same chip. The battery is the clearest change, and the expected 238g weight suggests Poco has accepted a heavier phone to fit it. The camera is expected to move to a 200MP main sensor alongside a 50MP 5x periscope, though no sensor size has been published, so higher resolution on its own is not a guarantee of better photos. Nothing here has been independently reviewed, so treat performance, battery life and camera quality as untested until the first reviews land.
