About the Xiaomi 11T Pro
The Xiaomi 11T Pro was built to win arguments on a spec sheet, and its headline feature still turns heads years later: 120W HyperCharge refills the 5,000mAh battery in a matter of minutes rather than hours, which changes how you think about topping up. Behind that sits a Snapdragon 888, a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED panel with HDR10+ and Gorilla Glass Victus, and Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers that are a cut above the usual mid-range effort. The 108MP main camera produces detailed, punchy daylight shots, though the 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP telemacro supporting lenses are noticeably weaker, so this is a one-good-camera phone rather than a balanced system. It is a big, heavy handset at 204g with only IP53 splash resistance and no microSD slot, and MIUI has always divided opinion. Xiaomi took it as far as Android 14 with HyperOS, so its update runway has now run out. Consider it if raw speed and charging convenience matter more to you than camera versatility or long-term software.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Xiaomi 11T Pro worth buying?
It is worth buying if you want flagship-class speed, a bright 120Hz OLED and the fastest charging in its class without paying flagship money. The Snapdragon 888 still handles anything you throw at it. The reasons to hesitate are the weak secondary cameras, the 204g weight and the fact that its guaranteed Android updates have finished after Android 14.
How fast does the Xiaomi 11T Pro charge?
It supports 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge and ships with a compatible charger in the box, filling the 5,000mAh battery in well under half an hour. Xiaomi splits the pack into two cells to manage heat, and there is a Boost mode in settings if you want the fastest possible top-up. There is no wireless charging.
Is the Xiaomi 11T Pro camera good?
The 108MP main sensor is genuinely strong in good light, producing detailed and well-exposed shots, and the Pro model adds 8K video recording. The 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP telemacro lenses are much less capable, and there is no dedicated telephoto, so zoomed shots are digital crops. Treat it as a very good single-camera phone rather than an all-rounder.
Does the Xiaomi 11T Pro have a microSD card slot?
No. Storage is fixed at either 128GB or 256GB with no expansion, so choose the larger option if you shoot a lot of 8K video or keep large game libraries. RAM is 8GB or 12GB depending on the configuration.
Is the Xiaomi 11T Pro waterproof?
It carries an IP53 rating, which covers dust and light splashes or rain only. It is not rated for immersion, so avoid submerging it. That is a step below the IP68 protection you get from similarly powerful Samsung and Apple handsets of the same generation.
Should I get the Xiaomi 11T Pro or the standard Xiaomi 11T?
The two share the same 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED, 5,000mAh battery, 108MP main camera and body design, so day to day they feel nearly identical. The Pro swaps the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra for a Snapdragon 888, jumps from 67W to 120W charging, and unlocks 8K video recording rather than 4K. If charging speed and peak performance matter, take the Pro; otherwise the 11T covers the same ground.
