About the Xiaomi 11T

The Xiaomi 11T is the sensible half of the 11T pairing, delivering most of what makes the Pro appealing without the flagship chip or the headline charging figure. You still get the 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED with HDR10+ and Gorilla Glass Victus, the same 108MP main camera, the same 5,000mAh battery and the same Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers, but the engine is a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra rather than a Snapdragon 888. In practice that is a difference you notice in sustained gaming rather than in messaging, browsing or video. Charging drops to 67W, which is still fast enough to take the phone from empty to most of a day's use over a coffee. The compromises are the same as its sibling's: an 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP telemacro that cannot keep up with the main sensor, only IP53 splash resistance, no microSD slot and a chunky 203g body. Xiaomi carried it to Android 14 with HyperOS, so the guaranteed update window has now closed.

It is worth buying if you want a large 120Hz OLED, strong speakers and fast charging without paying for flagship-tier silicon. The Dimensity 1200-Ultra is comfortably quick for everyday use and casual gaming. The drawbacks are the weak secondary cameras, the 203g weight and the fact that its guaranteed Android updates ended at Android 14.
How fast does the Xiaomi 11T charge?
The Xiaomi 11T supports 67W wired charging and includes a compatible charger, taking the 5,000mAh battery to a usable level in a short session at the plug. There is no wireless charging on this model. If you want the 120W HyperCharge experience you need the 11T Pro.
Is the Xiaomi 11T camera good?
The 108MP main sensor takes detailed, colourful photos in good light and holds up reasonably at night thanks to pixel binning. The 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP telemacro are much weaker and there is no telephoto lens, so zoom is a digital crop. Video tops out at 4K, where the Pro model can shoot 8K.
Does the Xiaomi 11T have a microSD card slot?
