OnePlus Nord CE 5G Deals - July 2026

1 refurbished deal available - SIM-free from £270.00.

About the OnePlus Nord CE 5G

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G was OnePlus trimming the Nord formula down to its core, and the cuts landed in fairly sensible places. The Snapdragon 750G is a step below the original Nord's chip and the frame is plastic with no official water resistance rating, but the parts you touch every day survived intact. The 6.43-inch AMOLED panel runs at 90Hz and still looks clean, the body is genuinely thin and light for something carrying a 4,500mAh battery, and OnePlus put the 3.5mm headphone jack back in after leaving it out of the standard Nord. Warp Charge 30T fills it quickly enough that you can top up over breakfast. Cameras are where the savings show: the 64MP main sensor is competent in daylight and noticeably softer once the light drops, and the 2MP depth sensor adds little. Official software support has long since ended, so there are no further Android upgrades or security patches coming. As a low-cost, uncluttered 5G handset for light use it still does the job, but it is not a phone to buy for the long haul.

Frequently asked questions

Is the OnePlus Nord CE 5G worth buying?
It is worth considering only as a budget or backup handset now. The 90Hz AMOLED screen, 4,500mAh battery and headphone jack still make it pleasant to use, but the Snapdragon 750G is dated and official software support has ended, so it will receive no further Android or security updates.
Does the OnePlus Nord CE 5G have a headphone jack?
Yes. The Nord CE 5G has a 3.5mm headphone jack, which the original OnePlus Nord did not. It is one of the few OnePlus phones of its era to include one.
How good is the OnePlus Nord CE 5G camera?
The 64MP main camera is solid in good light and produces reasonably detailed shots. Low-light performance is weaker because there is no optical image stabilisation, and the 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensors are noticeably less capable than the main lens.
How fast does the OnePlus Nord CE 5G charge?
It supports 30W Warp Charge 30T over USB-C, taking the 4,500mAh battery from empty to around 70 percent in roughly half an hour. There is no wireless charging.
Is the OnePlus Nord CE 5G waterproof?
No. The Nord CE 5G carries no official IP rating for water or dust resistance, so it should be kept away from rain and spills. The plastic frame and lack of certification were part of how OnePlus kept the cost down.
Should I get the OnePlus Nord CE 5G or the OnePlus Nord 2 5G?
The Nord 2 5G is the stronger phone in almost every respect, with a faster MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip, a 50MP main camera with optical stabilisation and 65W charging. The Nord CE 5G answers back with a lighter body and a headphone jack the Nord 2 dropped. Compare OnePlus Nord 2 5G deals.

Based on main-sensor size (1-inch / 1/1.3" beats 1/2.0"), telephoto reach (periscope > 5x > 3x optical), image processing tier (Apple Pro, Pixel Pro, Galaxy Ultra, Honor Magic Pro, Xiaomi Ultra), pro video features (ProRes, Apple Log, Dolby Vision), camera-partnership branding (Leica, Hasselblad, Zeiss) and OIS. Older flagships are de-rated since image processing pipelines have advanced significantly each generation. Megapixel count is deliberately downweighted — it correlates poorly with real-world camera quality.

Based on battery capacity (mAh) adjusted for platform efficiency calibrated against NotebookCheck, Tom's Guide, GSMArena and CNET reviewer tests. Apple A-series gets +45% (iOS process freezing + LTPO 1Hz + tuned panels make iPhone Pro Max outlast many 6500+ mAh Android phones in measured tests). Top Snapdragon / Dimensity flagships get +15%, budget chipsets are penalised −15% to −25% to reflect less efficient displays and looser background limits. Charging speed is excluded — see the separate Fast charging tag for that.
