About the Nokia G11
The Nokia G11 is a deliberately plain budget phone, and that is the point of it. HMD built the G series around durability and battery life rather than headline specs, and the G11 delivers on both: the 5,050mAh cell is one of the largest at this level and, paired with a low-power Unisoc T606 chip and a 720p screen, it will see most people through two days without much thought. The 90Hz refresh rate is a nice touch that makes scrolling feel smoother than the rest of the spec sheet suggests. Everything else is basic. The 6.5-inch display is only HD+, so text and video look soft next to a Full HD panel, 3GB of RAM means apps reload in the background more often than you would like, and the 13MP main camera is a daylight-only proposition. Storage starts at 32GB, so the microSD slot is close to essential. It launched on Android 11 with Nokia's characteristically clean, bloat-free software, though that update window has now passed. As a rugged, long-lasting phone for simple use, it still does its job.
