About the Motorola ThinkPhone
The ThinkPhone was Motorola's attempt to bring ThinkPad design language to a smartphone, and the result is one of the more distinctive Android flagships of 2023. It runs the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, so performance still holds up well for everyday use and gaming, and the 6.6-inch pOLED runs at 144Hz for noticeably fluid scrolling. The business angle is more than marketing: it ships with Moto Threat Defense security tooling and Think 2 Think features that pair it with ThinkPad laptops for clipboard sharing, file transfer and instant hotspot. Photography is solid rather than class-leading, with a stabilised 50MP main camera that shoots up to 8K video.
