Closed, it is small enough to disappear into a jacket pocket, which is the entire appeal of the format. Where it shows its age is the 2.7-inch external display, which handles notifications and glances but is nowhere near the small second screen later Razrs adopted, and the 3,500mAh battery, which is respectable for a folding phone but modest by ordinary standards. There is no wireless charging and the IP52 rating covers splashes rather than immersion. For UK buyers it is worth considering as a compact flagship that happens to fold, provided you accept that a 2022 handset is at the end of its software life.
