About the Huawei P30 Lite
The Huawei P30 Lite was built to bring the P30 family's camera-first branding down to a mid-range price, and it did that reasonably well for its time with a triple rear camera and a large 32MP selfie sensor aimed squarely at social media users. The 48MP main sensor produces detailed shots in good light, though the Kirin 710 chipset and mid-range ultrawide and depth sensors mean it never matched the photography chops of its Pro sibling. A 6.15-inch full-HD+ display, 3,340mAh battery and a 3.5mm headphone jack rounded out a sensible, if unremarkable, everyday phone. Like the P30 Pro, it launched before Huawei lost access to Google Mobile Services, so it still runs the full Google Play Store rather than Huawei's AppGallery workaround. Several years on, though, it shows its age clearly: there's no 5G, no water resistance rating, and software support ended long ago, so this is now firmly a budget or backup-phone purchase rather than anyone's primary device.
