Overview
The iOutlet is the trading name of James Green Limited, a Plymouth company incorporated in 2013 (the site says it has been refurbishing tech since 2012). It sells refurbished phones, mostly iPhones from the iPhone 7 to the latest models, alongside Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones, iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks and consoles. It also buys devices through its Sell My Gadget trade-in service and runs two shops in Plymouth that do repairs.
Every phone is sold unlocked unless the listing names a network, carries a UK Device label, and is checked against lost, stolen and blocked databases. The iOutlet describes a 70+ point test. Phones come in four cosmetic grades: A+ Pristine (no signs of wear), A Excellent (minor wear), B Good (moderate wear) and C Average (heavy wear). The grade describes appearance only, and every grade is fully tested. Battery health is at least 80% of original capacity according to its battery help page.
Phones carry a 12-month warranty, and a 24-month extended warranty is sold as an add-on. Delivery is free by Royal Mail Tracked 24 after a dispatch window of 2-4 working days, with paid express dispatch for orders before 9am on weekdays.
Delivery
Free UK delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 24 after a dispatch window of 2-4 working days. Express next-day handling costs £9.99 for orders placed before 9am Monday to Friday; express orders after 9am on Friday are processed on Monday for Tuesday delivery. A battery upgrade adds a day before dispatch.
Our Verdict
The iOutlet is an established refurbisher with a large iPhone range, grade descriptions that make clear the grade is about looks rather than function, and a strong Trustpilot score. About one in ten of its phone listings carried a sale price on 1 November 2026.
Read the small print before ordering. Free delivery is slower than the headline suggests, change-of-mind returns can cost a 7% deduction, and its own pages contradict each other on the returns window and battery minimum. For a buyer who knows the grade they want and does not need the phone tomorrow, it is a solid choice.
