Roaming
SMARTY includes free EU roaming across 45 destinations on all plans. Customers can use their UK minutes and texts as normal, along with up to 12GB of mobile data while abroad, and no activation is needed - EU roaming draws on the monthly allowance automatically. The 12GB fair usage cap applies regardless of the plan's UK data allowance, though EU Roaming Data Passes at three pounds for one day or seven pounds for three days unlock the full allowance, and Ireland is exempt from the cap entirely. Note that Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are not in the inclusive band and are charged separately.
