SMARTY operates on the Three network, so you're moving from Vodafone's infrastructure to Three's — which means your signal and coverage could differ. Important Warning
Do NOT cancel your contract manually. If you cancel before transferring your number, you will lose it permanently. Your old contract will automatically cancel once the transfer completes.

How to Switch from Vodafone to SMARTY
Get your PAC code from Vodafone
Text PAC to 65075 from your Vodafone phone. Your PAC code will arrive by text within a minute. Alternatively, call Vodafone on 191 from your handset or 0333 304 0191 from any other phone. You can also request it online by logging into My Vodafone at vodafone.co.uk. Expect a retention offer from Vodafone — they're known for trying hard to keep customers. You can politely decline and take the PAC. It's valid for 30 days.
Give your PAC to SMARTY
Visit smarty.co.uk and choose a plan. During the order process, you'll be asked whether you want to keep your existing number. Select yes and enter your PAC code. SMARTY doesn't have a customer service phone number — all support is online. If you didn't enter your PAC during checkout, you can submit it through your SMARTY online dashboard after receiving your SIM.
Wait 1 working day
SMARTY processes the number transfer on the next working day after receiving your PAC. They'll confirm the date by text. On the switch day, your Vodafone SIM goes dead and your SMARTY SIM starts working with your old number. Have your phone charged and the SMARTY SIM ready to insert. Your Vodafone account is closed automatically when the number moves across.
Transfer Cut-off Times: Submitting your PAC code before 5:30 PM usually means your number will transfer the next working day. Submitting it after 5:30 PM or on weekends/bank holidays will add an extra working day to the process.
Final Bill: You'll receive a final bill from Vodafone shortly after the transfer is complete. This covers your usage up to the date of the switch.
Things to Check Before Switching
Check if you owe anything on a Vodafone device plan — the remaining balance becomes payable immediately when you leave. Early termination fees will also apply if you're within a minimum term contract. Make sure your phone is unlocked so it works on Three's network. Vodafone phones from after December 2021 should already be unlocked. For older devices, request an unlock through My Vodafone or by calling 191. SMARTY is SIM-only, so bring your own device.
