The Poco F5 Pro was the closest Poco has come to building a proper flagship, and the parts it chose to splash out on are the ones enthusiasts notice. Its 6.67-inch OLED runs at a genuine 1440 x 3200 rather than the 1080p most rivals settle for, which makes text and fine detail visibly crisper, and it is rated for 1,200 nits peak with Dolby Vision support. Inside sits the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a former top-tier chip that still has plenty of headroom for demanding games. Poco also added 30W wireless charging, something almost unheard of at this end of the market, on top of 67W wired and a slightly larger 5,160mAh battery. What you give up is portability and a few conveniences: at 204g it is a heavy phone, the headphone jack is gone, and IP53 covers splashes but not immersion. The cameras are the same set as the standard F5, so this is an upgrade about screen, silicon and charging rather than photography.
