Important Warning

Do NOT cancel your contract manually. If you cancel before transferring your number, you will lose it permanently. Your old contract will automatically cancel once the transfer completes.

Pre-Switch Checklist

  • Back up your data: Contacts, voicemails, and saved messages won't transfer.
  • Unlock your phone: Ensure it's not locked to your old network if you plan to keep using it.
  • Check Early Termination Fees: Text INFO to 85075 to see if you'll incur charges for leaving early.

How to Switch from Three to Lebara

1

Get your PAC code from Three

Text PAC to 65075 from your Three phone. You'll receive your PAC code by text within a minute.

You can also call Three on 333 (or 0333 338 1001 from another phone).

2

Give your PAC to Lebara

Sign up for a Lebara plan and give them your PAC code. You can usually do this online at mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/login, in-store, or by phone.

3

Wait 1 working day

Your number will transfer from Three to Lebara within 1 working day. You'll get a text when the switch is complete. Your old Three contract is automatically cancelled.

Transfer Cut-off Times: Submitting your PAC code before 5:30 PM usually means your number will transfer the next working day. Submitting it after 5:30 PM or on weekends/bank holidays will add an extra working day to the process.

Final Bill: You'll receive a final bill from Three shortly after the transfer is complete. This covers your usage up to the date of the switch.

Things to Check Before Switching

  • Contract status — Check if you're still in contract with Three. You can switch at any time, but you may need to pay an early termination fee if your minimum term hasn't ended.
  • Outstanding balance — If you're paying off a handset, you'll need to settle any remaining balance with Three.
  • Phone compatibility — Make sure your phone is unlocked and compatible with Lebara's network. Most phones sold since 2015 are unlocked.
  • Coverage — Check Lebara coverage in your area before you switch.

Different Network Coverage

Three uses the Three network while Lebara uses Vodafone. Coverage may differ in your area — check coverage before switching.
