Switching from EE to iD Mobile is a smart choice for customers who want to keep strong network coverage at a lower price point. iD Mobile is a virtual network operator running on the Three network, offering budget-friendly plans with data rollover and spending caps as standard. Many EE users switch to iD Mobile to reduce their monthly phone bills without sacrificing too much on features.
Important Warning
Do NOT cancel your contract manually. If you cancel before transferring your number, you will lose it permanently. Your old contract will automatically cancel once the transfer completes.

How to Switch from EE to iD Mobile
Get your PAC code from EE
Text PAC to 65075 from your EE phone to receive your PAC code by text within 60 seconds. You can also call EE on 150 from your EE device, or dial 0800 079 8586 from a different phone. Another option is to log into your account at ee.co.uk and request the code online. Your PAC code will be valid for 30 days.
Give your PAC to iD Mobile
Visit idmobile.co.uk to browse their SIM-only or pay monthly plans and select the one that suits your needs. When ordering, choose to keep your existing phone number and enter the PAC code you received from EE. You can also call iD Mobile on 0333 003 7777 from any phone to place your order and give them the PAC code over the phone.
Wait 1 working day
Once iD Mobile processes your PAC code, your number will transfer from EE to iD Mobile within 1 working day. iD Mobile will text you to confirm the transfer date. On that day, your EE SIM will deactivate and your iD Mobile SIM will start working with your existing phone number. Expect a brief interruption of service during the switchover.
Transfer Cut-off Times: Submitting your PAC code before 5:30 PM usually means your number will transfer the next working day. Submitting it after 5:30 PM or on weekends/bank holidays will add an extra working day to the process.
Final Bill: You'll receive a final bill from EE shortly after the transfer is complete. This covers your usage up to the date of the switch.
Things to Check Before Switching
Text INFO to 85075 from your EE phone to find out your contract end date and any early termination charges that may apply. Check that your phone is unlocked so it can be used on the Three network that iD Mobile operates on. Also consider that iD Mobile may not offer the same level of 5G coverage as EE in your area, so check before switching.
Different Network Coverage
iD Mobile uses Three's network infrastructure, which is entirely separate from EE's network. Three's coverage is generally good in urban areas but can be more limited in some rural spots compared to EE.
