About the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro
The Redmi Note 13 Pro is the phone that made a 200MP camera normal on a mid-range handset, and it backs that up with the things Redmi has always done well: a big, bright 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 5,000mAh battery that lasts a full day, and 67W charging that most rivals at this level cannot match. The 200MP main sensor is stabilised and bins its pixels down for cleaner shots, and it gives you a genuinely useful 2x lossless crop, which matters because there is no dedicated telephoto lens. The supporting 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro cameras are much weaker, so treat this as a one-good-camera phone. It also keeps the practical extras Xiaomi's pricier phones drop, including a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD slot. Note that UK stock covers two versions: the 5G model runs a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 while the 4G model uses a MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra, so check which you are buying. IP54 covers splashes rather than immersion. It launched on Android 13 and has since moved to Android 15 with HyperOS 2.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Specifications
Spec Scores
£200-£399 Phones · 199 phones
- Snapdragon 7s Gen 2
- Octa-core (4x2.40 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4x1.95 GHz Cortex-A55)
Based on calibrated CPU benchmark rankings (60%) and GFXBench GPU scores (40%). Apple chipsets included via editorial calibration since AnTuTu under-represents Apple's architecture.
- 6.67 inches
- 1220 x 2712 pixels
- AMOLED, 120Hz, 1800 nits peak
Based on panel type (LTPO is the modern flagship gold standard), resolution, refresh rate, peak brightness, screen size, and HDR10+ / Dolby Vision support. Marketing peak-brightness claims are capped at 3500 nits to prevent inflation.
Lab-measured by DXOMARK (120 on their scale). The measured result replaces our spec-sheet estimate for this category.
- Triple camera setup
- 200 MP main camera
- Optical image stabilisation (OIS)
- 4K video recording
Based on main-sensor size (1-inch / 1/1.3" beats 1/2.0"), telephoto reach (periscope > 5x > 3x optical), image processing tier (Apple Pro, Pixel Pro, Galaxy Ultra, Honor Magic Pro, Xiaomi Ultra), pro video features (ProRes, Apple Log, Dolby Vision), camera-partnership branding (Leica, Hasselblad, Zeiss) and OIS. Older flagships are de-rated since image processing pipelines have advanced significantly each generation. Megapixel count is deliberately downweighted — it correlates poorly with real-world camera quality. Where DXOMARK has lab-tested the phone, its measured score replaces this estimate.
- 16 MP front camera
- 1080p selfie video
Based on the image-processing tier (Apple Pro, Pixel Pro, Galaxy Ultra and Honor Magic lead on computational processing), sensor resolution in tiers rather than raw megapixels, autofocus, aperture and max selfie-video resolution. Calibrated against DXOMARK's selfie protocol.
- 5,100 mAh
- 67W wired, PD3.0, 50% in 17 min, 100% in 44 min
Based on battery capacity (mAh) adjusted for platform efficiency calibrated against NotebookCheck, Tom's Guide, GSMArena and CNET reviewer tests. Apple A-series gets +45% (iOS process freezing + LTPO 1Hz + tuned panels make iPhone Pro Max outlast many 6500+ mAh Android phones in measured tests). Top Snapdragon / Dimensity flagships get +15%, budget chipsets are penalised −15% to −25% to reflect less efficient displays and looser background limits. Charging speed is excluded — see the separate Fast charging tag for that.
