No More Samsung Phone
2010 April 05, 08:26The samsung E250i phone has a battery cover that is a torture to open. I sought the help of more than 20 people including some very strong men but it could not open. All in all it took me more than close to two weeks just to get it opened finally. Even the people at the handphone shop could not open it. Can you believe?? I finally did get a man friend to open it telling him just try with all your might and I told him I was prepared to get another phone. So I told him not to worry about damaging the stupid phone. After more than an hour of pressing, pushing, pulling in all possible ways, it suddenly opened. Phew!!!! Terrible shit phone!!!

i hate samsung
2009 October 30, 13:24This is a terrible phone. Truly awful. The slider starts to wobble after a few weeks, the battery cover is a nightmare to remove. The menu system is dated and looks like something from the 1980's.
The calendar is incapable of handling dates prior to 1971, so, if you have birth dates of friends or relatives before this date, forget it, the phone won't take them. What it will do is reset them to 01/01/1971 and then put that entry into your PC calendar. It will do this for every birthday and will do it every time it synchronises with the PC. After a few days you'll have dozens of entries on 01/01/1971 for birthdays, anniversaries etc. Samsung will not help you with this problem, they have no answer. It is how the phone is designed.
The auto-connection of the PC Studio software doesn't work. You have to manually connect in order to update the calendar.
Synchronisation is painfully slow, due to Samsung copying over your entire calendar into it's own database, then sending it to the phone, then downloading it back again and then sending it back to your PC calendar. Why?
The PC Studio calendar is hopeless, it shows that there is something in the calendar, but, not what it is. You have to open the day to see what's there. Makes you wonder why they even bother.
Do NOT buy this phone if you are looking for something that can synchronise with a PC. In fact, do not buy ANY Samsung phone is you want to do that. -
