Now I have upgraded to Wordpress 3.0 and the problem seems to be solved. No more “file cannot be edited”. Nice!

I finally found a solution. It can be found here: http://johnswhiteboard.com/?p=13.

Replace your misc.php file with the one he has on the above website (or copy/paste it). misc.php is in the http://www…/wp-admin/includes folder.

I can now edit my theme files!!!

Edit the Shining.png file. It’s located at: /gear/images/bg/shining.png

I still can’t edit the files. I’ve changed from Gears 1.6.2 to 1.6.3, nothing. If I change to the WP default theme, it works fine.

I’m currently using WP 2.9.2 and Gears 1.6.2.

If you need a guinea pig to sort this issue out, just let me know.

and set in my phone
the theme are will be chang but the main menu are not change bt the theme screen shot are different bet ween my mobile

On the “Appearence / Widgets” page I’ve recently noticed that I no longer have the ability to click & drag widgets to or from the sidebar. The sidebar doesn’t display on that page anymore. Is this an issue with the recent update to WordPress? Or is there some way to resolve this?

What am I missing? I tried to change the background of our site to water droplets, or even blue at the request of the aquatics director, but no luck.

I went into the backend of the site and overwrote the existing image files with the background I wanted… but it didn’t change. If someone could help I’d appreciate it!
