What you pay for is what you get. Good phone but easily breaks but overall good phone

I got this phone for Christmas '09, and though its memory capabilities are rather appalling on its own, with a memory card it works just fine. My one issue with it is that occasionally it turns off and on again by itself, even if I've just opened it. However I'll be getting a new phone soon, as I recently got a text while on the toilet and, well, dropped it (by accident)into the bog. It's messed up now, but that's only to be expected.

my partner and i have had this phone now, for 5 years as a work phone. we use it every day, the memory is crap, the signal strength is the worst point about this phone.it always said when trying to make calls or send text, ERROR NO NETWORK or EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY. nearly every town or place i go i always get this annoying message. and it is the same with my partners phone...we are both on T-MOBILE network. now the battery needs replacing and it needs a charge everyday..finally also it has started to re-boot itself when sending text.
no more Samsung phones for us...

i hate this phone! i dont really like it it has no internet connection or anything im gonna get a samsung tocco lite it looks really better than this but i dont know what im going to do with this!!! the battery life is okkk but it could do better

i had this phone for maybe 3 months or so then i got rid of it so i changed to a blackberry curve and my sister just put her phone in her hanbag and the next thing she knew the screen was broken its a samsung j700 mine samsung was good but my sisters was not any ideas if you can get it fixed

Its a good phone. But the problem with it is that you can only store one track in the phone without a memory card. I wouldn't recommend this phone.I am going to get an Xperia X10 Mini and I dont know what I am gonna do with this. The battery life is very good and so is the colour. The sound is good as well. I would give the sound 5 stars.

i am really pissed off... i had this phone for a year, and it started to show up problems like , if i slide up, the call , end, cancel and the other two keys don't function, and last night it restarted automatically lol and now the number key pad not working...m so pissed off... does any one know whare i can find a service center for samsung phones in bangalore India... please e-mail me if u know @ niks_latestcraze@yahoo.co.in thankx guys, now m definitely going to buy no**a phone if this SGH j700i does not work after fixing...

Great phone had for 2 years now. Memory is not a problem. Mine has 8 games and loads of photos and video footage. The best bit is you can lock it and no one can get into messages, phone book ect.

i fink dis is one of my fav phones dis is my 1st phone which is very close to me so i love it no doubt its kewllll nyc camera n stuff love it :P

Doesn't break very often but when it does i'm straight down the nearest phone shop to just get another, only about £30 for my last one.

This phone sucks big time., no t9 and soooo little memory an u cant even set ur ring tone from ur memory card... You have to move it to the fone an sometimes the songz are tooo big! Dnt by this fone

I got this phone about a year ago. At first i was really pleased with it but when I was playing with it, I found that it has hardly any memory which was really annoying. The good thing is that it has background playing and looks stylish. Since i have had it, i have dropped it soooooooooo many times and it chippes really easily.

i had this phone 4 a year and had to have it replaced and fixed 6 times the phone is rubish but now the phone company i am with have replaced it with the phone i want the samsung genino and the genino is fantastic the best phone i have ever had

it's good but the security code doesn't function...

Not practical for children, like me. it turns on during class, has no lock button, has max of 3 songs, and after a while the slide becomes stiff. If there was one brilliance to it, it would have to be that its indestructable. I dropped it in a pond, and down stairs and it looks brand new and works really well, apart from the fact its a bad phone. Bad graphics, bad pics and bad presentation. Do not buy this phone.

bogus mobile...esp. for people who send/receive sms alot... strip of the mobile gets damaged if used the slide frequently... and u loose ur display hence... not for cam lovers... images are good in mobile only...

This phone is great. Good pic quality and good radio. 2 Problems, if anyones got answers please help. 1: i cant get out of selective text, which annoys me.
2: ive got a memory card on it and i cant transfer the pics i take onto the memory card... meaning i cant transfer it onto the laptop. Help please!!!

Bought the phone yesterday to replace
my Nokia 7373. Nice phone but a few
niggles. If you send a text you must not shut the slider before it shows 'sent'or it will go straight to draughts. Also, you cannot save message recipients which means you have to go into the phone book every time. When it rings, you have to be careful not to hit the right hand phone icon or you will reject the call.
The headset is awful. A band of rubber around the earpieces would make a huge difference to comfort and would keep them in my ears.
Apart from that I love it. Good clear
reception, nice clear time and date.
Good value for money and looks like it is worth more than what was paid.

i have just bought this mobile, i think that its good, when u have wrote a text, when u send it click on options and instead of clicking send, click on save and send. Also if u dnt like that it dusnt have much memory buy a flippin memory card, thats what im doin, an you can have alot more pictures and songs x

Mobile is very good.
Only is missing % in a calculator's funcion.
Why any Samsung mobile doas not have % percent in his calculator.
I couldn't belive.
Everiting else is fine.

This phone is the best. There is no problem with it and i dont think of using any other.

this handset is great as compared to nokia mobile.
it is very stylish toooo.
Very clear speaker,camera and nice layout of menu, LCD screen could do to be slightly brighter when out in sunny days, plenty of gadgets on and to add with this phone it's my first SAMSUNG.
it gives very good connectivity on pc while using internet.
only one problem is that we can't download any themes in mobile.....
